Ecology
Egg
The fin wings emerging from the egg symbolize demonic authority. It harbors the aura of Dark, yet emits a chilling energy that seeks to dominate even barren lands. It is an egg that must be handled carefully with reverence, so as not to damage its delicate wings.
Hatch
It is born with fish-like wings and a turtle-like belly. Its red eyes seem to boast the power of darkness even from the Hatchling stage. Due to its eye color and Dark Element Type, it is often misunderstood as ferocious. However, compared to other Hatchling dragons, it is relatively less prone to causing trouble.
Hatchling
Its wings grow even larger, and its tail thickens. With its enlarged wings, it can move freely in both the sky and the sea. It spends more time roaming the sea than in the sky. It loves exploring the deep abyss.
Adult
Its wings grow large enough to cover its entire body, and several horns sprout from its tail. The deep green of its body resembles the Dark, giving it a majestic appearance befitting the moniker 'Watcher of the Dark'. Thanks to its body color, it can hide well in the Dark. If two red objects glow in the Dark, it is likely Baal. Baal can unleash Lightning explosions with its accumulated body energy. Lightning gathers at the fin-like tip of its tail, and the amount of Lightning it can accumulate is not known to be very large. However, the power of the Lightning is strong enough to be fatal. Most of Baal's horns exist for Attack and Defense, but the horn on its forehead serves to detect direction. Using this horn, it can accurately pinpoint an opponent's location, no matter how deep the Dark.
Observation Log
- Baal quietly observes its opponents in the dark. It shows no reaction when approached and sometimes strikes with lightning from out of sight. If spoken to, it doesn't reply but stays longer. It still doesn't open its heart.
- It shows its back or makes brief eye contact, sensing energy with its horns. On rainy nights, Baal often stays silently by its side.
- Leaving its dark past behind, it searches for a reason to live by its Tamer's side. While defeating enemies with lightning, it undergoes a process of maturing, choosing the warmth of being together rather than being alone.
