Ecology
Egg
The fur covering the egg has a soft and cozy texture. The egg's surface alternately feels flame-like heat and a cool chill. It constantly wriggles and vibrates, making it a mysterious egg full of vitality.
Hatch
From the Hatchling stage, its tail is very large and plump. Its tail is so bushy that it feels almost as big as its body. With its large ears, it can hear sounds from very far away, and if it hears someone's voice, it quickly prepares to play a prank. It is not easily scared and, wanting to play pranks, prefers to secretly follow someone at night rather than stay in quiet places. The brightly burning flame on its large tail makes it seem like a will-o'-the-wisp.
Hatchling
Unlike when it was a hatchling, during its hatchling stage, it flies while hidden, searching for someone to prank. The reason it's discovered with a very low probability is because it's concealed. It's not due to shyness, but to play pranks. However, it's not skilled at hiding, so it gets discovered even when trying to prank. A Blue Firetail that fails a prank is disappointed but hides again to formulate a new plan.
Adult
The tip of its tail is always ablaze with fire. It does not intentionally control the size of the flame at its tail tip. It plays severe pranks with its flames, to the extent that it's unclear whether there's malice or not. It secretly follows tamers or dragons wandering alone in dark forests and sets them on fire. The blue flame has a significant effect on those who easily feel fear. Otherwise, the Blue Firetail's flame won't even ignite. It has no interest in anything other than playing pranks. It is said that the blue flame has protective abilities passed down through generations, but only when the Blue Firetail feels like it.
Observation Log
- Blue flames always burn all over its body, and it finds the greatest pleasure in laughing as it watches someone flee in surprise.
- As night deepens, its mischievous pranks hide, using the darkness as a playground. Its blue flames only affect those who feel fear, so if one is not afraid, Blue Firetail quickly loses interest.
- It thoroughly ignores uninteresting beings and rarely protects others with blue flames. Towards those who are not afraid of it, it feels both wariness and a strange curiosity.
