Ecology
Egg
A deadly poison flows within the egg, yet it shows no outward signs. As it hatches, the poison rapidly spreads to the surroundings, requiring extreme caution during hatching. This egg hides terrifying venom within its serene shell, making it one that demands constant vigilance.
Hatch
From the Hatchling stage, it carries potent venom. It sometimes injects the venom from its tail into others. It plays pranks by injecting venom into dragons or creatures it encounters while roaming underground, then fleeing. At this time, the Centipede Dragon's potent venom is not strong enough to affect life.
Hatchling
Unlike when it was a hatch, the Centipede Dragon's entire body is poisonous during its hatchling stage. It is known that the poison is produced inside the Centipede Dragon's body. Because its body itself contains poison, it develops Immunity to poison from the hatchling stage. It can spread poison to each leg.
Adult
When moving, it crawls on the ground. It is also skilled at crawling on walls using its many legs. It can also move by climbing trees using its flat body and swift legs. It can fly, but it doesn't use its wings often, as it is known to feel more stable when its legs are on the ground. It has sharp claws and a venom sac on its tail. It's often the case that each leg carries potent venom, so caution is advised. The Centipede Dragon's venom has the power to paralyze the mind and cause unconsciousness. The Centipede Dragon uses this to spread venom during hunts, either with its tail stinger or its legs.
Observation Log
- It constantly tries to escape or spray poison, making it impossible to let one's guard down, and even if caught, a tingling sensation can be felt from its claws. Young Centipede Dragons play by poking or tangling with their tails; their venom is weak but ticklish and unpleasant.
- The Centipede Dragon moves as if fleeing from sight, yet circles around. If it finds something interesting, it leaves footprints on the floor or wall. As it grows, it practices various movements to control the poison in its body, and sometimes evades to prevent the poison from touching itself.
- It quickly climbs walls and ceilings, paralyzing opponents with its venom. It marks paths by drawing patterns with venom, and when it holds its breath on its Tamer's body, one must always be careful of the venom brushing its claws.
