Ecology
Egg
The moment you touch the jet-black egg, you are seized by endless despair. If you don't let go, you might lose even your sense of self, consumed by despair. It is an egg that guards its surroundings with an aura of anger and resentment, condensing destructive power.
Hatch
From a Hatchling, it has immense destructive instincts. Its wings and tail are small compared to its body, and it often pounces on opponents who look at it. It tries to hunt even the smallest prey as soon as it's spotted.
Hatchling
Its tail and wings grow larger compared to its body, and it gains an additional toe. It exudes an aura of power that is on a different level from other Shadow Dragons. Heat begins to emanate from the tip of its tail.
Adult
Its body grows larger, and protrusions appear around it. Each pattern adorning its body becomes more distinct, and the horns at the tip of its head become sharper than when it was a hatchling. Once it reaches adulthood, only the God Dragon can stand against it. It dislikes contact with others and ensures that any opponent who challenges it meets a terrible end. Darknix's wings are shaped like swirling fire, and their appearance changes with Darknix's rage. Darknix's swirling form, when deeply enraged or confused, turns even redder, and with each flap of its wings, its fury intensifies.
Observation Log
- Darknix destroys its surroundings and taints them with darkness immediately after hatching. It mercilessly plunges even small animals into darkness, and its power becomes even stronger at night.
- Darknix is not tainted by evil, but rather his inner sorrow expressed as rage and hostility. Those who witness his darkness are consumed by their own rage, and Dark Dragons unconditionally obey him.
- It keeps other beings at a distance but is harsh to those who pick fights. It wanders in darkness, enraged by the sorrow and resentment of losing Maia Aora. A spell causes its fury towards the God Dragon to surge, but it doesn't know the reason why. Perhaps it needed an outlet for its sorrow.
