Ecology
Egg
This egg is rock-gray with a hard shield attached. It is quite heavy, requiring a cart to move, and normally shows no movement. It is a static and mysterious egg that only begins to stir at the moment of hatching.
Hatch
It has a shield-shaped pattern on its forehead. Immediately after hatching, it sleeps for a long time. Even when eating, it is half-asleep. Once it falls asleep, it is characterized by very long slumber. However, when it comes to finding food, it runs around nimbly. It expresses its dissatisfaction by headbutting anything it dislikes.
Hatchling
Wings grow, but they are not large enough to lift its body. It seems to merely show that it has wings. Its claws grow, and its body gradually becomes fatter. As its weight increases, it consumes more food than in its Hatch form. Fat is most active as a Hatchling and returns to being a sleepy Fat once it becomes an adult.
Adult
This Dragon loves eating as much as sleeping, and if trained with food as a reward, it can become versatile enough to do anything. However, it cannot overcome sleep, so training must be conducted quickly while it is awake. Its wings are very small compared to its massive body. Fat's flight barely lifts it about 1 meter off the ground. It doesn't move much, but when it does, it primarily uses its legs. Its wings are known to be usable even while sleeping. As the saying goes, "wings are just for show," it doesn't use its wings for anything specific. Rather than flying around, it tends to survey its surroundings for food. Normally, it's not very fierce, but when it gets hungry, it becomes extremely ferocious, destroying its surroundings indiscriminately. Fat's body temperature is always maintained at an ideal temperature for sleeping. Its plump body is very soft to hug, so it's said that hugging Fat quickly brings on sleep. For those suffering from insomnia, a Fat doll that Fat has embraced is sometimes recommended. It is so effective that insomnia disappears when hugging a Fat doll.
Observation Log
- Fat sleeps for a long time but reacts nimbly when food is present. When charging towards food, it uses the hard shield on its forehead as a weapon.
- It sprints short distances quickly with its strong leg muscles, focusing on its prey. Its heavy build firmly anchors its center, making it unbudging even to small impacts.
- It has high Accuracy during feeding training but must finish before dozing off. It pushes trees or rocks with powerful impacts, and even when happily dozing with its eyes open, it tries to obey its Tamer's words.
