Ecology
Egg
It features soft, cozy fur wrapped around its center. The lower part of the egg has a burning hot temperature. If you are deceived by the coziness of the upper part and touch the lower part, you may get burned.
Hatch
From its hatch stage, its tail is very large. The tail is so bushy that it feels similar in size to its body. With its large ears, it can hear even very distant sounds. It is timid and prefers to live in quiet spaces.
Hatchling
Unlike as a Hatchling, during its Hatchling stage, it sometimes flies using its wings. Its wing flapping is not skillful, so it cannot fly for long periods and spends a lot of time on the ground. A flame begins to burn at the tip of its tail. It cannot properly control the power of the flame, so it sometimes produces very hot or large flames.
Adult
The tips of its nine tails are always ablaze with flames. It can control the size of the flames at its tail tips, and they don't feel very hot unless it harbors ill will. Most Firetails are very perceptive. Since they wield flames that burn everything when angry, they strive to maintain a gentle state. A Firetail's flames exert their greatest power when defending itself.
Observation Log
- Firetail rarely descends, observing the world from high up in trees. It is shy and does not reveal its appearance or sound, and its presence can only be inferred from rustling leaves or footprints.
- It rarely appears before Tamers, making eye contact or leaving flames before disappearing. Upon detecting a threat, the flames on its tail react, and instead of intervening directly, it leaves embers in the surroundings as a warning.
- Firetail, leading a small pack of Gumiho, shows its pack when its guard is down. The adult's flames burn warmly, illuminating its surroundings. It moves between treetops near the Tamer and moves first to protect if someone approaches.
