Ecology
Egg
This mysterious egg floats on water atop a lotus leaf, like a lotus flower. The egg's surface is covered with brown fur, and its center is a hard gray shell. Assimilated into nature, it is safely protected on the lotus leaf until hatching.
Hatch
In its hatchling state after hatching, it has no jumping ability or wings. Its body is small, but its face, palms, and soles are large. It has a flat, unpuffed face. It is not very wary and is highly curious, trying to taste everything with its tongue. Its digestive ability is excellent, capable of dissolving the hard exoskeletons of insects.
Hatchling
As it evolves into a Hatchling, bumps grow on its palms and soles. This allows it to cling to anything and always move by jumping. Its curiosity decreases, and its wariness increases, causing it to startle at small sounds and flee. Despite having wings, it jumps more than it flaps, showing no inclination to fly. In dangerous situations, it inflates its cheeks greatly and lets out a scream.
Adult
Its wings grow larger, and horns sprout on both sides of its head. As an adult, its personality becomes very cautious and its wariness increases. Its senses develop and become acute, and its instantaneous reaction time becomes outstanding. Its tongue becomes tough and highly elastic, capable of coiling around opponents or attacking them. It can hold and spray water from inside its cheeks, and can make sounds by puffing out its cheeks. It is known that a Frog Dragon's jumping power comes from the strength of its hind legs. It can jump more than 10 times its own height. The sticky liquid and fine hairs on its footpads keep it from falling even on wet surfaces.
Observation Log
- Its digestive ability is excellent, capable of dissolving insect exoskeletons. It can cling anywhere with the viscous protrusions on its hands and feet, and if it feels threatened, it puffs up its cheeks and emits a warning sound.
- It climbs trees well with its powerful hind legs and prefers to run rather than fly. Sensitive to sound and air currents, it reacts quickly to even the slightest sign and exhibits excellent Evasion.
- It wraps its elastic long tongue around opponents to snatch them, performing both Attack and Defense simultaneously. It can also blast water stored in its cheeks with strong hydraulic pressure to push opponents away. All these actions are to protect the pond's ecosystem.
