Ecology
Egg
The blue flames rising above the egg lure other creatures closer.It swiftly engulfs and consumes the essence of approaching life, using that energy as nourishment to grow. It is an egg imbued with a greedy and powerful predatory aura, hatching faster the more life energy it consumes.
Hatch
Small creatures slip through its wings, so it prefers larger-bodied creatures. As a Hatch, it usually fails at hunting, so it practices on dolls or trees.
Hatchling
It begins to hunt by wrapping its wings around its prey. It consumes life force to grow and use as power. Therefore, it roams around in search of larger prey. It also swings the antennae under its wings to strike opponents.
Adult
It mesmerizes opponents with blue flames and a unique whistle. "Griptor"'s whistle has the effect of relaxing the mind and easing tension. The speed at which it wraps opponents with its wings becomes too fast to follow with the eyes, and the chance of failing a hunt becomes very low.
Observation Log
- Hatched Griptor perceives objects thrown by the Tamer as prey and catches them accurately.
- Griptor observes reactions with its antennae, reacts sensitively to voices or whistles, and repeatedly trains itself to suppress its hunting instincts according to the pitch of the whistle.
- It controls flames for its Tamer and protects them with its wings in times of danger. It reads emotions through eye contact without needing a whistle, showing a deep bond by hunting together and controlling life force intake.
