Egg
It is an egg with sharp fins growing from it. The egg itself is cold, but its fins emit intense heat. Care must be taken when touching it to avoid cuts or burns from the fins.
Hatch
As a hatchling, Ignis quietly wanders in search of lava. It wishes to temper its scales, and these tempered scales become thicker and harder. Due to its thick scales, heat dissipation is difficult, making it susceptible to heat. Thus, it is often seen stopping to rest while walking due to the heat.

As a Hatchling, it can now manage its hardened scales. It can instinctively find nearby lava and spends a long time in the lava it finds. It sometimes splashes lava onto its body using its wings.
Adult
Although it is a Fire Element Type Dragon, the scales covering its body are very cold. Only thin parts, like its fins, maintain a high temperature and serve to regulate Ignis's body temperature. Each scale is very large and thick, making it difficult to pierce. Most Ignis manage their scales by swimming in lava. The more they boil in hot lava, the thicker Ignis's scales become and the harder its fins get.
Observation Log
- Ignis quietly explores Lava zones to temper its scales. After identifying the Lava's location by ground vibrations, it submerges itself in areas of intense heat.
- As the lava covering its body cools, its hardened scales take on a dark luster and absorb external impact and heat. The mist emitted from its scales at this time carries a subtle scent of flame.
- It pours lava onto its body with its wings to raise its scale temperature. Its fins harden with heat, and its scales shimmer consistently. The heat it emits after immersing itself in extremely hot lava prevents nearby creatures from approaching.
