Ecology
Egg
The coral on its surface grows until hatching. When hatching, the coral breaks, creating sharp fragments, so caution is advised. It does not hatch in cold places, so a hot temperature must always be maintained.
Hatch
From its hatch stage, it loves magma. While it can withstand high temperatures, it cannot endure magma for long periods. It sometimes dips its feet into magma, gets startled, and runs away. Rather than staying in one place, it enjoys roaming around, running through various parts of volcanoes.
Hatchling
Unlike when it was a hatch, during its hatchling stage, it runs around volcanoes and uses ultrasonic waves. It collects various information using ultrasonic waves, mainly related to volcanoes. Being very curious, it travels to various places to see the world. It sometimes enters hot magma to accumulate power.
Adult
It can detect danger using the horns on its head. These horns grow in a coral-like shape, and Magnellos can communicate with each other using ultrasonic waves even thousands of kilometers apart. They are useful in volcanic terrains, and a Magnello that senses danger will rescue nearby Dragons and Tamers from harm. It is a Dragon that lives in groups throughout volcanic regions. It possesses agile legs capable of traversing even rugged terrain. Its speed in climbing mountains is also very fast, leading Tamers who see Magnellos in volcanoes to mistake them for 'volcanic deer'. It attacks opponents using wing flaps that accumulate magma. Magnello's wings are known to accumulate power when in the presence of high temperatures. Conversely, if it is in low-temperature environments or enters cold water, its wings lose power, and the tips of a cooled Magnello's wings turn black. The boiling magma solidifies into the shape of wings, but if it spends time in high-temperature environments, the solidified wings return to their original state.
Observation Log
- Upon hatching, Magnello follows signs of underwater volcanoes and settles near the most active ones. It stays fearlessly even in places where an eruption is imminent, observing the movement of Lava.
- Magnello detects steam and gas emissions, safely guiding surrounding life forms and gaining their trust. He waits for the moment of lava eruption, recording energy flows and striving to interpret the volcano's breath.
- Adult Magnello sculpts terrain with Lava to create habitats for marine life. Unaffected by Lava underwater, it takes the lead in forming caves and controls currents with its fins to reduce explosive damage, making it a sculptor of the sea.
