Ecology
Egg
The plum blossom tree growing on the egg continues to grow until hatching. If the plum blossom tree is damaged, it stops growing and will not hatch, so it must be carefully nurtured. Life force flows with a subtle floral scent, showcasing a noble and beautiful appearance.
Hatch
It lives attached to a plum blossom tree from its hatchling stage. Upon hatching, it embraces the plum blossom tree that was attached to the surface of its egg. Normally, it doesn't get angry easily, but if its plum blossom tree is taken away, it may attack the opponent with its claws or tail.
Hatchling
Unlike its Hatch form, during its Hatchling phase, it can make the plum blossoms on its body bloom. The plum blossoms that bloom from Plumos's body possess the energy of life, and the moment their petals fall to the ground, they help the growth of natural objects with that life energy. Although not as much as an adult, it can skillfully perform the role of sharing its power after blooming flowers.
Adult
This dragon was first discovered in the land of fairies, the continent of Friconu. After being sighted on the Friconu continent, there are records of it being found in regions with distinct four seasons. While the timing of Plumos's appearance is still under study, it is certain to appear where plum blossom trees are present. It often hovers around plum blossom trees that have grown for a long time and is very adept at following plum blossoms, traveling along the scent of blooming plum blossoms. Plumos is known to be a dragon highly sensitive to seasonal changes. In regions with distinct four seasons, one can even observe the changes in the plum blossoms blooming on Plumos's body. As a dragon sensitive to seasons, each Plumos is known to have preferred temperatures and humidity levels. For this reason, Plumos often acts independently rather than moving in groups. Born from a plum blossom tree, this dragon has plum blossoms growing all over its body. The plum blossom trees attached to Plumos's body grow along with Plumos. When it flies, it scatters plum blossom petals, which contain Plumos's life energy. The plum blossom petals are absorbed by natural elements like soil and trees, serving to transfer nutrients. When Plumos rests, it wraps its long body around a plum blossom tree. Plumos-wrapped plum blossom trees grow very quickly, sometimes blooming plum blossoms regardless of the season. Plumos is known to be the dragon that most influences plum blossom trees. If it discovers someone harming a plum blossom tree with ill intent, it subdues them using its long body and tail, then commands them to apologize to the plum blossom tree. Because this appearance resembles a guardian deity protecting plum blossom trees, it is sometimes called the 'Spirit of the Plum Blossom Tree' in some regions.
Observation Log
- Plumos lives embracing a plum blossom tree after hatching, and instinctively attacks if the tree is taken away. It is usually quiet, but its strong attachment to the plum blossom tree makes it wary of other creatures approaching.
- As it grows, Plumos blooms with plum blossoms on its body, and its fallen petals bring vitality to the earth. These plum blossoms have the effect of quietly sharing the energy of life.
- Plumos, which guards plum trees and aids their growth, strictly subdues those who harm them. The unfading petals scattered during its flight possess mysterious Magic, known as 'Spirit Flowers'.
