Ecology
Egg
This egg has four tentacles, and a small amount of venom is released from its surface. Due to its toxicity, gloves must be worn, and it sways pleasantly when placed near water. It dislikes being touched, but if there's enough moisture, it moves its tentacles in response.
Hatch
It has strong protective instincts from its hatchling stage. Fear is visible in its large, golden eyes. It is very shy and does not move carelessly. With wide eyes, it thoroughly scans its surroundings. It exhibits strong protective instincts by emitting poison. It prefers to enter water rather than stay on land, often circling leisurely alone in the water. It frequently comes out of the water to check the outside situation.
Hatchling
The evolved hatchling possesses powerful toxins. It constantly emits poison from its entire body. It intensely dislikes being touched, so it covers its whole body in poison to prevent anyone from approaching. The bodily fluids and breath emitted by Poison River also contain toxins, making even approaching it dangerous. Poison River, covered in poison both inside and out, is extremely dangerous. It should be observed from a distance, or left alone in water after creating a safe environment. If you add catfish, it will eat them on its own.
Adult
Its powerful venom prevents anyone from approaching it carelessly. It avoids contact and interaction with both dragons and humans. It always prefers to be alone. Even if not acting threateningly, if something approaches beyond a certain distance, it paralyzes them with venom. Being bitten by a Poison River when it's in the water is extremely dangerous. If even a single drop of blood enters the water, the surrounding area becomes tainted with venom, and wounds from a Poison River bite allow venom to seep in, making them difficult to treat. It is known that there is no cure for paralysis or deep wounds caused by Poison River's venom.
Observation Log
- Poison River, observing its surroundings with golden eyes, distrusts humans and dragons and prefers to be alone. It hides in the water, wary of unfamiliar beings, and slowly poisons anything that approaches.
- Its entire body is poisonous, making approach dangerous, so one must leave food by the water and observe from a distance. It remains silently vigilant but does not attack first; its venom only reacts when eye-contact warnings are ignored, so caution is advised.
- Poison River, which contaminates rivers with potent venom if its blood mixes, likes its nickname 'Ghost Poisoner.' It feared both humans and dragons, but slowly opens its heart to those who leave food for it at the same time every day.
