Ecology
Egg
This rough egg has a dark rock color, a coarse surface, and spotted patterns. Its shell is so hard that there's concern whether the hatchling can break out on its own. It is usually wedged in rock crevices, sometimes embedded so deeply that rocks must be broken to retrieve it.
Hatch
From the Hatchling stage, it is born with a strong jaw. Its jaw is so developed that it can crush most things, unless they are diamonds. Its palms and soles are well-developed, and as a Hatchling, it often chews on rocks. It has no wings, and hard protrusions cover its body from head to tail. It cannot fly, but its strength gives it excellent jumping power. However, it doesn't particularly like moving quickly.
Hatchling
During its hatchling stage, wings appear, and its front paws become even more massive. While it can fly with its new wings, it cannot fly for long. This is because its body weight is much greater than when it was a hatchling, and its wings aren't strong enough to generate that much energy. Instead, its front and back paws are well-developed, sometimes digging into the ground with each step.
Adult
When a Power Dragon matures, its inherent strength becomes even greater. Because of this, it learns to control and use its power, and its destructive tendencies weaken compared to before. While it would unleash its power to destroy everything when young, as an adult, it prefers small, cute things and tries to conceal its strength. Though it commands great power, its gentle nature makes it humble and not arrogant. Most Power Dragons possess the discernment to control their power without being dominated by it. The more a Power Dragon believes in its own strength, the greater power it can unleash. Power Dragons that have undergone extensive training develop significantly larger forelegs and grow tougher scales.
Observation Log
- The Power Dragon, which grows by crushing and eating rocks with its innate jaw strength, enjoys rolling down high mountains, growing tough and strong.
- As it evolves, its forelegs become massive, and its powerful leg strength allows it to jump great distances. After realizing its own strength, it refrains from actions like collapsing mountains or rolling rocks.
- Adult Power Dragon grows to be gentle and considerate, controlling its strength. It prides itself on helping vulnerable creatures regardless of species, but sometimes shows a dull side, helping without distinguishing good from evil and occasionally receiving scolding.
