Ecology
Egg
This is a hard egg with embedded rocks and emerging horns. No matter how much it rolls, it doesn't break and maintains a clean state, free of moss or dust. It is a resilient egg that preserves its pristine smooth condition, unyielding to its surroundings.
Hatch
It can often be seen rolling around. It has no horns on its head, but small protrusions above its eyes. The rocks growing on its body are not yet sharp, but rather round like patterns. The rock at the tip of its nose is also blunt. Its appearance does not distinguish between male and female. Its body is hard like a rock, and it often scratches itself, from which sharp rocks grow.
Hatchling
Pointed protrusions emerge from the round patterns on its body. Males grow horns on either side of their heads. Its habit of scratching its body disappears, and unlike when it was a hatchling, it no longer rolls around easily due to the rocks on its body. It digs its horns into the ground.
Adult
Its body and legs grow larger overall, and large protrusions emerge on its body. The horns on both sides of its head also grow large enough to cover its face. Males always engage in head-on collisions, resulting in many wounds around their bodies. Due to the protrusions, its body is heavy, preventing it from moving quickly. However, attacks from its large physique are very fierce, and its heavy weight can make the ground rumble or launch its protrusions. Its jaw and horns are hard enough to crush rocks. Its skin is like rock, so it doesn't feel external pain or sensations well. Rock Dragons sometimes have parts of their rocky bodies break off while moving. Because its body is heavy, it also moves slowly, and at first glance, it can resemble a rock filled with minerals.
Observation Log
- Its body is hard like a rock and has a habit of rolling. Its surface is round and firm. It often scratches its body, and pointed protrusions slowly grow from the scratched areas.
- It camouflages itself like a rock and ambushes prey when they approach. Its body develops many protrusions, preventing it from rolling anymore, but it moves slowly and steadily.
- It lives in groups, leaving traces that are hard to distinguish from rocks. Though slow, its powerful horns and jaws can split rocks and change terrain, possessing immense destructive power. Members of the same group live in close physical contact.
