Ecology
Egg
An egg that shares consciousness. Consciousness is contained within a blue lump resembling the sea. Rubbing the lump allows one to feel the egg's consciousness. It can also share its consciousness using the sharp horn on the lump as an antenna. It pushes across the ground with its fins to seek out places where consciousness is felt.
Hatch
It can project consciousness starting from the Hatch stage. Because it can share thoughts without speaking, its language development is relatively slow compared to other dragons. It can also communicate with other living beings and loves hanging out with dolphins the most. In the cold winter, Rusalkas can often be found swimming in schools among dolphins in the ocean.
Hatchling
An evolved Hatchling never lets its guard down. Because members of the same pack share a single consciousness, all Rusalkas in the pack act identically. They attack or defend together. Although it looks like coordinated group behavior, they are merely acting according to their shared consciousness. If one Rusalka is corrupted, the consciousness of the entire pack is corrupted, so they remain constantly vigilant to prevent their consciousness from being corrupted.
Adult
Acts as Linu's eyes. A dragon that is the first to notice enemy incursions. The Rusalka are divided into multiple groups, each assigned to an area to protect the deep sea together. Using its streamlined body and sleek caudal fin, it can swim swiftly through the ocean. They gather the spears made of the same material as their horns beneath their bumps to strengthen their solidarity. They also brandish the ritual spear atop their heads to disrupt the focus of nearby enemies. Serving as eyes for the blind Linu to watch enemy movements, they protect Lathea together.
