Ecology
Egg
An unusual ferocity can be felt from the eggshell. The bottom of the egg flickers according to its mood, and when angry, it emits a very bright light. It has a rough characteristic of unexpectedly leaping in place or violently ramming its surroundings.
Hatch
It wields a blade-like tail from its hatchling stage. It keeps its precious tail tucked away for a moment, then wags its small blade-like tail when it spots an opponent it dislikes or during combat. It always maintains a sharp gaze, overpowering opponents with its stare alone. Do not approach carelessly; observe its expression carefully before extending a hand. It hopes its Tamer will understand it even without words, so one must pay close attention to Sharp Tail's actions and quickly catch on. Other parts of its body are somewhat tolerable, but its tail must never be touched.
Hatchling
The evolved Hatchling harms others. It injures everyone, including the Tamer, with its tail. Its personality is extremely wild and uncontrollable. If left alone too much, it gets angry for being left alone, and if too much company, it gets angry for its territory being invaded. It's prone to sudden outbursts of rage, making it impossible to take your eyes off it. Giving it its favorite food somewhat calms its anger.
Adult
It uses its blade-like tail as a powerful weapon. An adult Sharp Tail's tail is extremely sharp. It can slash opponents in battle with its tail, or gather power in its tail to attack opponents with that force. While it may be advantageous in battle, its difficult personality makes training challenging, causing Tamers headaches. Rumor has it that merely preventing it from encountering a White Thunder Dragon is a sign of successful training. If their eyes meet, they fight until one is utterly defeated. On the other hand, it is even said that a good method is to let them meet, exhaust them, and then let them sleep.
Observation Log
- Immediately after hatching, it brandishes its sharp tail, wary of its surroundings. Although it no longer brandishes its tail, it maintains its vigilance, glaring and becoming hostile if a stranger approaches.
- It occasionally glances at those who show respect but easily sulks over minor actions. Even when angry, it refrains from swinging its tail, instead dragging it along the ground, trying hard to endure.
- Sharp Tail lowering its tail is an expression of intimacy; if approached then, the tip of its tail wags. While its wariness decreases with evolution, approaching it first is forbidden. It sometimes takes Food directly, and uses its tail as a Shield or raises it high when threatened.
