Ecology
Egg
This light egg has a surface adorned with blue and green hues and dotted patterns. It is very light, sometimes soaring into the sky on windy days. Found in breezy areas, it moves by entrusting itself to the flow of the atmosphere.
Hatch
It is born with a light body and large wings to fly well. In its hatchling stage, its wing membranes extend from its arms to its legs, like a flying squirrel. Its flapping wings allow the Wind Dragon to fly easily even with the slightest breeze. The Wind Dragon takes great pride in being able to fly from its hatchling stage and loves to travel with flying birds.
Hatchling
The wing membranes attached to its legs move up to its waist as its body grows larger. Unlike its Hatch form, its claws grow larger, allowing it to grip cliffs and branches well. Although its lifting power is insufficient, it has mastered many ways to use its wings, enabling it to move around with even small air currents. It moves by falling from high ground to low ground. While it is difficult for it to fly by moving its wings on its own, it gains the ability to create wind and moves by riding the wind it generates. However, the wind's strength is not powerful enough for it to fly for long.
Adult
On windy days, you can easily spot a Wind Dragon by looking up at the sky. However, on windless days, they rarely show themselves and find moving bothersome. Most Wind Dragons prefer high winds that they can ride and soar on. As much as they love flying, they are often seen traveling with birds. Each wing has three bone structures, allowing for stronger flight. Sharp claws at the end of each bone structure help them easily cut through the wind. Additionally, their tail, similar in thickness to their body, allows for easy direction control, enabling various flight methods. It is said that the maximum wind speed a Wind Dragon can generate is close to the speed required to push away a Typhoon. Caution is advised when a Wind Dragon flaps its wings, as it creates strong winds. They primarily fly through the sky, eating dried fish or nuts dried by the wind.
Observation Log
- With its flapping wings, it easily lifts its body even in light winds and moves with birds. It has an excellent sense for riding the wind currents it creates, floating as if swimming in the sky.
- With excellent gliding ability, it can descend slowly even after a fall. Its wide, light wings, like those of a flying squirrel, automatically react to strong winds, stopping their flapping, and it has a habit of breathing with the wind.
- Wind Dragon, which creates typhoon-level gales, enjoys wind-dried seafood and nuts. It prefers winds blowing from high places and moves sensitively according to the wind's flow.
