Ecology
Egg
It is enveloped in swirling clouds and has protruding antennae. When exposed to wind, its cloud shape changes moment by moment, making it so mysterious that it's difficult to distinguish from surrounding clouds. Its weight is like air, making it a light egg that you barely feel you're holding even when gripped in your hand.
Hatch
As a Hatchling, its body is small and light, causing it to float around. It has coiled antennae on its forehead. Its light body allows it to live on clouds. Even a weak breeze can blow its body away. Once it gets lost, it's hard to find again, so it must be watched carefully.
Hatchling
The clouds surrounding its body grow larger, and a cloud forms on its tail. As a hatchling, it can stand more confidently and is not easily blown away by the wind. It makes various efforts to become familiar with the weather held within the clouds.
Adult
When it matures, the clouds surrounding its neck grow even larger. Clouds also form on its arms. It can create clouds and make it rain by itself. On a clear day, if there's only a single cloud floating, it's highly likely to be a Cloud Dragon. It has a curious and playful personality. It often creates clouds large enough to cover a village or makes it rain on laundry hung out to dry. It frequently gets scolded by Dragon Tamers for its excessive pranks. When hiding from other dragons, it often conceals itself within clouds.
Observation Log
- A lonely cloud in a clear sky is likely a Cloud Dragon, which has the ability to create or dispel clouds. It can also suddenly bring rain.
- Its light and varied scales are popular items among collectors. It playfully manipulates clouds to cause sudden downpours, sometimes enjoying people's reactions.
- It has an unpredictable personality that changes the weather according to its mood. While it can resolve heavy rain or drought, weather control is difficult if communication with its Tamer is lacking. It acts based on its senses, and the more emotions it shares with its Tamer, the more precisely it controls the weather.
