Ecology
Egg
It is an egg with sharp fins growing from it. It strongly dislikes being touched, and if someone lays a hand on it, it rolls far away. Even in its egg state, its self-expression is clear, so it should be observed from a suitable distance.
Hatch
Its head fin is small, so it doesn't look very threatening. Its violent nature is consistent from its hatchling stage, so it's best not to provoke it. It has a hobby of hunting fleeing fish. When a Shark Dragon appears in the sea, most fish are too busy escaping to notice anything else.
Hatchling
It now strongly resembles a shark, with larger fins and tail. Its cowardly nature often leads it to steal prey caught by other dragons. It has learned to get along well with sea creatures, and their relationship is quite good. They swim together or wander around, enjoying the sea.
Adult
Its neck lengthens, and dark blue scales sprout all over its body, resembling armor. Once it reaches its full adult form, its hunting success rate is nearly 100%. The Shark Dragon's body surface, evolved not to hinder swimming, is very slippery. It has no fur, so it experiences no water resistance, and its flexible body allows it to move quickly and change direction swiftly. This is also why most fish and gentle dragons cannot react to the Shark Dragon's Speed and are attacked.
Observation Log
- Despite its cute appearance, it has a habit of fiercely chasing moving targets. It reflexively pounces, especially at splashing water or fast shadows, and its biting Power is very strong, so caution is advised. This aggressive instinct does not easily disappear.
- Its tail and fins develop, greatly improving its swimming ability. It becomes capable of underwater spins and vertical ascents, and learns to distinguish between prey and friends, though it often quarrels with its own kind.
- Shark Dragon, which becomes docile when full, listens to the sounds of marine life. As an adult, it roams the sea freely, training by crashing its body against massive rocks. It prefers a unique hunting method, catching fish with the shockwaves generated during this process.
